PriceIs HotClip free?
Yes. There is no account and no watermark on your clips. A small banner and an occasional full-screen ad, shown when you start a clip and never on your first, keep it free.
Google PlayWhy isn't it on Google Play?
Google Play doesn't allow apps that download from YouTube, so HotClip is installed from this page. The first time, Android asks you to allow installs from your browser. Allow it for that one install.
SafetyIs the APK safe to install?
Download it only from hotclip.quantumqbit.in. Every version is signed with the same Quantum Qbit key, Android refuses an update signed by anyone else, and the SHA-256 of each file is listed under Download.
Which buildWhich APK should I download?
Universal works everywhere. arm64-v8a is a third of the size and fits most phones made since 2017; armeabi-v7a is for older 32-bit phones; x86_64 is for Chromebooks and emulators. This page highlights the one that fits the phone you are reading on, when your browser says.
CopyrightWhich videos can I clip?
Your own videos, or videos whose creator has given you permission, such as approved clipping programs. Respect the creator's copyright and each platform's rules.
No graphWhy do some videos have no graph?
YouTube shows Most replayed only on videos with enough views. You can still set the start and end yourself and cut the clip.
SavingWhere are my clips saved?
In Movies/HotClip, so they show up in your gallery. Each clip also has a Share button for YouTube, Instagram or WhatsApp.
PhonesWhich phones does it work on?
Android 11 or newer. Clips are made with your phone's own video chip, so a 30-second 1080p Short usually takes well under a minute.
UpdatesHow do I update it?
HotClip checks this site and shows Update now when a new version is out. Tap it and install over the old one; your clips stay where they are.
PrivacyWhat does HotClip collect about me?
HotClip itself collects nothing and has no accounts. Its ads come from Start.io, which uses your device's advertising ID to choose them; you can reset or delete that ID in Android settings. Read the privacy policy.
